什么是奶牛热应激?

温度超过26℃奶牛热应激风险增高。热应激会使奶牛减少采食,反刍下降、产奶下降、繁育减退、体细胞数增加、以及乳腺炎、瘤胃功能受损、酸中毒等健康风险,会在很短的时间内影响到牧场利润。尤其高产奶牛更易受热应激影响。奶牛热应激程度取决于环境空气温度、湿度、流动性和阳光照射。通常使用遮阳帘、通风系统和充足的新鲜饮用水来帮助牛群缓解热应激,但往往还不够。研究表明,间歇淋浴配合强制气流是奶牛降温的有效方法,显著降低热应激,比单独采用风扇效果更好。而采用雾化喷嘴通过冷却空气实现奶牛降温时,薄雾会被风扇吹走,且奶牛毛发上积聚的薄雾会在皮肤之间形成空气隔层,阻止体内热量散发。

The intelligent precise sprinkler cattle cooling systems is an innovative solution for dairy farming to keep the herd comfortable, healthy, and productive even in every months of the year. Studies have found that dairy cows heat stress will occur at temperatures as low as 26℃. Heat stress makes dairy cows reduce feed intake and lose body weight, and affects milk production, reproductive performance and health. Especially high yielding cows are most susceptible to heat stress. All of this will impact your profits in a very short period of time. The degree of heat stress suffered by the dairy cows depends on the combination of environmental conditions such as air temperature, humidity, fluidity and sunlight irradiation. Dairy farmers use shades, ventilation system and ample fresh drinking water to help herds defeat heat stress, but often it is not enough Research has shown that shade in combination with intermittent showering and forced air flow is a very effective method to cooling dairy cows, and thereby reducing the impact of heat stress. The application of water with low-pressure sprinklers cools cows more efficiently that fans alone. Mist and fogging nozzles are often used to cool dairy cows by cooling the air around the cows. Unfortunately, the mist can be easily blown away under windy conditions or when used with fans. If a mist or fog builds up on the cow’s hair, it can trap a layer of air between the skin and the water holding in body heat. In addition, mist and fogging nozzles are often operated at high pressures and require regular maintenance. In comparison, CattleWell® smart sprinkler cooling solution is an efficient and cost-saving way to help dairy cattle keep cool and defeat heat stress, which in turn increase feed and water consumption and milk production. The system activates a shower when the temperature of the air above the customer configured actuation value and the cattle detection sensor detects animal presence. Then the cows are showered as they walk or stay under the nozzles getting soaked to the hide along the topline while not getting wet to the point of having water running off the sides. The sprinkler produce a coarse droplet spray to penetrates the hair and wet the cow skin instead of mist, which could be easily blown away by fans or built up a layer over the hair preventing heat from being dissipated. After the cow moves away from the showering area, the water sprayed on animal skin begin to evaporate liking sweating with air movement provided by fans, and pull heat away from the animal efficiently.
